About Us
After a year long refurbishment programme, Ingleside House has been converted from a former school to a versatile events and conference centre for regional businesses, the community and private clients, with state of the art communications and technology and a luxurious style of its own which is now a part of the Cirencester Chamber of Commerce.
The six rooms for hire (by the day, half day or delegate rate) can each be configured to suit clients needs from theatre style seating to a smaller boardroom style. All of our rooms offer linked widescreen TV/DVD, video record/playback and laptop presentation facilities. Our Library also converts into a stylish boutique cinema seating 25 people.
The venture has been a labour of love for the three Directors who felt that they wanted to preserve the old character of the house, so whilst retaining all of the exceptional features like the grand staircase and fireplaces, they have invested in sumptuous period curtains, beautiful oak flooring and tasteful decoration which complement the gracious proportions of the rooms. Meetings don’t have to be held in bland, soulless hotel spaces.
The Directors plan to integrate business and private clients with the arts and the community of Cirencester by combining Ingleside House with the adjacent Barn Theatre which can seat 140 people and dine up to 100.
The Directors hope that Ingleside will become the first port of call for businesses in the area whether for meetings, training or functions. For businesses and private clients we have a wealth of options at Ingleside with the Theatre, House and Garden for functions. And also planned are private dining opportunities as well as special events including cabaret, jazz and opera evenings.
Excellent food is part of the Ingleside promise and in charge of catering is Director Andy Brown who has run the adjacent Vaults pub and music venue for 17 years. He welcomes the chance to replace usual dull conference and event fare with freshly cooked food to order from bacon sandwiches to gourmet dinners.
At Ingleside we like to think that we offer something very special and different with a highly professional personal touch. We are all very proud of what we have achieved so far and look forward to welcoming guests old and new to join us at Ingleside.
